The work Endless beginning; dripper is an inner world of the body inspired by a poem I wrote about a creature’s journey from a space just below the diaphragm up to the heart, up through the neck and out the mouth.

An excerpt from the poem:

Inside the belly

Her hands feel

The walls

Between sticky

Slimy

Liquid

Splash

Until they find

A globe

Spiked on one side

Globular on the other

They take the globe

Cover it

Jerk it out of the belly

Waterfall follows

Falling waterfall

And then drips

Dripping drips

And then nothing
